Evil Demon Queen is an extra large underground map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, designed for five players with up to four human participants. The fifth color, Orange, is computer-controlled and plays the Inferno faction, while the other colors receive random factions. No teams are set. The premise follows a search for the queen, who must be found before she can be destroyed. Victory requires eliminating all enemies, and a player loses after losing every town and hero. Rock covers about a third of the map, with water, grass, and lava making up the rest. Notable features include twelve towns, 88 mines, the Grail, several wandering Dread Knight stacks, and a range of placed artifacts and dwellings.
