Europa Universalis — SoD

Europa Universalis is a surface-only map on an extra large 144 by 144 board, set to normal difficulty. Up to eight human players can take part, grouped into four teams. The stated goal, which translates roughly as defeating the invaders, is to eliminate every enemy. The factions are Stronghold, Necropolis, Rampart, Inferno, and four Castle starts. Water covers about half the map, with grass, dirt, and snow making up the rest. The map holds 35 towns, 82 wandering monster stacks, 57 mines, and nine creature banks. Relics include 47 random artifacts and placed items such as the Sphere of Permanence and the Skull Helmet. Three seer huts and a quest guard add further objectives. A player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes.
