Europa — HotA 1.7.2+

Europa is a medium 72 by 72 surface map for eight players, with every player controlled by a human at most and no computer-only colors. There are no teams, and the game is set to Normal difficulty. The author's description frames it as a war across Europe, in which each player takes the side of one of several powerful European nations and aims to dominate the continent. Each color starts with a different faction, from Castle and Necropolis to Conflux and Stronghold. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses when all towns and heroes are gone. Water covers just over half the map, with grass, highlands and snow making up most of the rest. Notable features include a Grail, ten artifacts placed across the map, and a number of guarded dwellings and creature banks.
