Europa — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Europa is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, built for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams. The author describes it as a familiar land to play on, with the goal of conquering enemy territory. Players start as Castle, Fortress, Tower, Stronghold, Necropolis, or Rampart, and two colors share the Castle faction. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Rock covers about 42 percent of the terrain and water about 25 percent, with grass and dirt making up much of the rest. The map holds 26 towns, 65 mines, 27 creature banks, and eight seer huts, along with wandering stacks of Crusaders, Dwarves, Wood Elves, and Minotaurs, and placed artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the Dragon Scale Shield.
