Eternal Love — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Eternal Love is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles, played on Impossible difficulty for up to four human players alongside computer opponents across eight colors. Each side is assigned its own faction, with Dungeon, Stronghold, Rampart, Fortress, Necropolis, Castle, Tower and Inferno all in play, and no team alliances are set. The story centers on a loved one held captive deep below the surface, and the goal is to defeat every enemy. You lose if all your towns and heroes are gone. Water covers about a quarter of the terrain, with rock making up the largest share. The map holds 38 towns, 103 mines, 31 seer huts and a Grail, along with many placed artifacts and wandering monsters.
