Epic — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Set in an age when magic and artifact makers flourish, this extra large 144 by 144 map includes an underground level. Five players can take part, all of them human-controlled, and no teams are used. Each player leads one faction: Tower, Castle, Necropolis, Rampart, or Fortress. The goal is to restore a realm and defeat every rival to claim the land, and a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 28 towns, four placed heroes, 66 mines, 47 creature banks, and a Grail. Rumors point to an ancient dwarven empire guarding the greatest treasure, and several artifacts are placed across the map.
