Entre o Céu e o Inferno is a medium 72x72 map for Shadow of Death, played on the surface at normal difficulty. Four colors take part, with Pink controlled only by the computer, so up to three human players can join. There are no teams. Tan plays Necropolis, Green plays Rampart, Teal plays Tower, and Pink plays Castle. Water covers more than half the map, with grass, snow and rough ground making up most of the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds five towns and five starting heroes, along with 22 mines, seven creature banks and three timed events. Wandering monsters include two Titans, an Ancient Behemoth and a Champion, and dwellings offer Centaurs, Efreet, Firebirds and Mummies. Many artifacts are scattered around, including several boots and the Crown of the Supreme Magi.
