Elementally — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Elementally is a medium 72 by 72 map for Shadow of Death with an underground level. Eight players can take part, with up to five controlled by humans and the three colors Red, Green and Purple handled by the computer. There are no fixed teams. The factions in play span Rampart, Tower, Castle, Stronghold, Dungeon, Fortress, Necropolis, Conflux and Inferno. The description suggests the elements hide surprises, and players must use what they uncover to defeat their rivals. Victory requires defeating every enemy, while a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. Rock, water and subterranean ground make up most of the terrain. Highlights include the Grail, Armageddon's Blade, mines, creature banks and monoliths with portals.
