Dziedzictwo Starożytnych is an extra large map on a 144 by 144 grid, with an underground level, played at Impossible difficulty. Its premise is a bid for control of the world, though the opposing forces are far stronger than the player's. Eight players take part, with one human seat at most and the other seven controlled by the computer, split into two teams. Seven factions appear: Tower, Fortress, Castle, Rampart, Stronghold, Necropolis and Dungeon, with Orange holding both Castle and Stronghold. Rock covers about 38 percent of the terrain and water about 19 percent. The map contains 30 towns, 23 heroes, 112 mines and the Grail, and wandering Water Elementals, Master Genies and Phoenixes roam the land. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while losing one specific hero ends the game.
