Divided and Hateful — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Divided and Hateful is a medium Shadow of Death map measuring 72 by 72 tiles, with an underground level and Impossible difficulty. Eight players share it, all of them open to humans, and there are no teams. Factions vary by player and include Castle, Rampart, Stronghold, Tower, Fortress, Inferno, Necropolis and Dungeon. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The description stresses flying as the way to break free of neighbours. Water covers about a quarter of the map, with lava and subterranean ground making up much of the rest. Notable features include the Grail, 20 towns, and 14 monoliths and portals, some of which are one-way.
