Der Große Krieg — SoD

Der Große Krieg is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Shadow of Death, played at Normal difficulty. Seven players each start with a different town type, from Necropolis and Inferno to Stronghold, and all seven slots can be filled by humans, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The author's description says that the neighboring lands hold so many precious riches that the player should simply take them. The map is mostly rock and grass, and the board is scattered with 28 towns, 140 mines, 9 creature banks, and 283 random monster stacks. Wandering Naga Queens and Black Dragons appear in numbers, and a placed Inexhaustible Cart of Ore waits among the 153 random artifacts.
