DEADLIFT is a very large underground map for eight computer-controlled players, with a single human player allowed, set on a 144 by 144 grid and played on the underground level as well. It is built for the In the Wake of Gods version of the game and is rated Impossible. There are no teams, and the factions include Inferno, Castle, Stronghold, Rampart, Necropolis, Fortress, Dungeon and a mixed Pink player who draws on several towns. Water covers about 28 percent of the land, with rock, rough ground and grass making up most of the rest. Victory requires defeating one specific hero, while a player loses by running out of both towns and heroes. The map holds 47 towns and 38 placed heroes, plus wandering creatures such as Gold Dragons, Black Dragons and Wyvern Monarchs, and a Grail is hidden somewhere on the map.
