Darknight — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Darknight is a large two-player map of 108 by 108 tiles, played on the surface only, and it is rated easy. Blue plays Necropolis against Pink's Castle, and both players are human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly grass, with substantial stretches of dirt, lava and snow. Six towns are on the map, alongside 56 random monster stacks, 13 mines, 8 creature banks and 2 seer huts. Dwellings offer a mixed roster that includes Skeletons, Wights, Mummies and Black Knights for the undead side, along with Archers, Pegasi and Sharpshooters. Several powerful artifacts are scattered about, such as the Helm of Chaos and the Dragon Scale Armor.
