Darkness Dilemma — WoG

Darkness Dilemma is a single-player-focused Extra Large map of 144 by 144 tiles with an underground level, set for the In the Wake of Gods version and rated Impossible. Two colors are present, but only one can be played by a human; the Castle side is human-controlled while the Necropolis side is computer-only, and there are no teams. The victory condition is to defeat all enemies, and the game is lost if a specific hero falls. Grass, rock, water and subterranean ground make up most of the terrain. The map holds twelve towns, 26 placed heroes, and many guarded creature banks, along with 81 random artifacts and a set of named artifacts such as Boots of Speed and Dragon Scale Armor. Wandering stacks of Familiars, Master Gremlins and Hell Hounds are common, and timed events appear throughout.
