Continental War 1.2 is an Extra Large 144x144 map for Shadow of Death with an underground level and a Hard difficulty setting. It supports eight players, with up to four human players, and the other four colors are computer-controlled. There are no teams, and every player starts with a random faction. Terrain is mostly grass, dirt, sand and swamp, with very little water. The map holds 34 towns and a large spread of wandering monsters, including many Azure Dragons, Archangels and Phoenixes, along with dwellings, mines, creature banks and seer huts. Placed artifacts include the Crown of Dragontooth and the Dragon Scale Armor. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
