Conquest of Empires is a large underground map for Restoration of Erathia, measuring 108 by 108 with a single underground level. It is built for five players, all of them human-capable, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Each player begins with one of five towns: Fortress for Red, Castle for Blue, Rampart for Green, Stronghold for Orange, and Tower for Teal. The win condition is to defeat every enemy, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. The terrain is mostly rock and grass, with a small share of water. Across the map are nine towns, six heroes, and a Grail, along with 42 mines, 15 creature banks, and eight monoliths and portals. Wandering stacks include centaurs, griffins, behemoths, and efreet, and several artifacts are placed in the open.
