Conflux War — SoD

Conflux War is an extra large underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Shadow of Death, spanning 144 by 144 tiles on the Impossible difficulty setting. Six players share the battlefield, with the Conflux faction under the red player and five computer-controlled opponents in blue, tan, green, orange, and purple, playing Stronghold, Rampart, Fortress, Necropolis, and Inferno respectively. Only one human player may join, and no teams are set. The win condition requires defeating every enemy, while the loss condition is the loss of one specific hero. Water covers about a quarter of the land, with rock, lava, and dirt making up most of the rest. The map holds 33 towns, 95 mines, 117 creature banks, and 11 monoliths and portals, along with a Grail, a Tome of Earth Magic, and a timed event. Wandering monsters include serpent flies, magma elementals, and a wyvern monarch.
