Chaos is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, played at Normal difficulty. Five players share the field, with four seats open to humans and Red controlled by the computer. Players form three teams, and Red begins with Inferno and Fortress while the other colors receive random towns. Victory goes to the team that captures a designated town, a race for an infernal stronghold, and a side loses once it has no towns or heroes left. Rock, water, and subterranean ground make up most of the land. Ten towns and two heroes are placed, with wandering Hydras and Water Elementals, plus the Cape of Velocity and Endless Sack of Gold.
