Board and sword — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Board and sword is an Expert-level Extra Large map of 144 by 144 tiles, built for Shadow of Death and including underground levels. Six players share the map, all of whom can be human, and no teams are set, so each player's random faction competes alone. The author frames it as six heroes vying for rule over these lands, though only one can claim the royal lion. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Rock covers about 38 percent of the terrain and water about 20 percent, with fifteen towns across the land. Wandering stacks of Trolls, Phoenixes, and Azure Dragons roam the map, which also holds the Grail, 53 creature banks, and 131 mines.
