Blood Of The Dragon (С) — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Blood Of The Dragon is an extra large, 144 by 144 underground map for Shadow of Death, set at Normal difficulty. Its original description refers to a search for a phial holding dragon's blood. Eight players can all be human, divided into four teams. The factions in play are Conflux, Stronghold, Dungeon (used twice), Castle, Tower, Rampart and Necropolis. Victory comes from acquiring one specific artifact, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Lava covers about 35 percent of the land, snow about 28 percent, and there is no water. The map holds 40 towns, 49 monoliths and portals, 82 creature banks, 35 quest guards and 9 mines. Wandering Devils, Ghost Dragons and Phoenixes roam the land.
