The author describes a once cheerful realm plunged into a great war after a royal quarrel, with burning fires and rivers running red. The eight players take the Inferno, Stronghold, Castle, Rampart, Conflux, Necropolis, Fortress and Tower factions. Rock covers about 40 percent of the terrain and water about 9 percent. The map holds 18 towns, 68 mines, 20 monoliths and portals, and the Grail, along with many wandering Evil Eyes and Minotaur Kings. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
