Beastmaster Slugfest — AB

Beastmaster Slugfest is a medium 72 by 72 map with an underground level, rated expert, for six players, up to four of whom can be human. The players form four teams, and the Purple and Pink colors are reserved for computer control. Four players field Fortress towns, Purple plays Necropolis, and Pink mixes six factions. Victory requires acquiring one specific artifact, and a player is defeated after losing all towns and heroes. Lava covers about 27 percent of the terrain, with swamp, water, and rock making up much of the rest. Water Elementals are the most common wandering stacks, and several named artifacts, including Armageddon's Blade and the Titan's Gladius, are placed around the map. The description asks players to pick one of four specialist heroes before eliminating rivals in search of a lost relic.
