Battling Martin — RoE

Battling Martin is a medium-sized underground map for Restoration of Erathia, measuring 72 by 72 tiles and rated hard. It casts one human player against two computer-controlled opponents, one playing as Castle and one as Stronghold, while the human plays as Dungeon. There are no team arrangements. The victory condition is to defeat a specific monster, and the player loses if a particular hero falls. The map is dominated by rock and grass, with water covering roughly a tenth of its area. Six towns, thirty-seven mines, and four heroes are spread across the terrain, with wandering monsters such as Infernal Troglodytes, Rocs, and Wolf Raiders roaming the land. Thirteen artifacts are placed on the map, and the description suggests a revolt against a tyrant who exploits the population.
