Battling Martin is a hard, medium map of 72 by 72 tiles with an underground level, set in the Restoration of Erathia version. You play Landis, an overlord leading a revolt against the tyrant Martin, who has forced the people to mine Mystic Fungus. Three players share the map, with one human at most, and the Blue and Tan sides are computer-only. No teams are set. Red plays Dungeon, Blue plays Castle, and Tan plays Stronghold. Victory means defeating a specific monster, and losing a specific hero ends the game. Rock is the most common terrain, followed by grass, with water and subterranean areas as well. It includes six towns, 37 mines, and several artifacts, including the Centaur's Axe.
