Battle in the Swamp — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Battle in the Swamp is an extra large underground-enabled map for Armageddon's Blade, rated Hard, covering a 144 by 144 field. Five players are placed, with one human slot and four computer-only colors, grouped into three teams. Red is random, Blue plays Necropolis, Green is random, Orange plays Dungeon, and Pink plays Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when all towns and heroes are gone. The description sets the story as a swamp people fighting the Rust Dragons for power, which turned an old peace into war. The terrain is mostly rock, swamp and subterranean ground, with about a tenth water. Expect 17 towns, 26 heroes, and a scattering of Rust Dragon and Titan stacks roaming the map, along with mines, seer huts, creature banks, and a Grail.
