Batory Before Pskov is a large 108 by 108 surface map for Restoration of Erathia, rated Hard. It casts you as the Polish king Stefan Batory, who must defeat Denmark, Sweden and Russia in the fight over Livonia while supporting the Duchy of Courland as an ally. Five players are placed, with at most one human seat and four computer-controlled colors arranged in four teams. The factions include Castle, Tower, Fortress and Rampart. You win by defeating every enemy and lose by losing all your towns and heroes. Grass and water cover much of the land. Notable features include 20 towns, 31 mines and the Grail, plus wandering Thunderbirds and Beholders in groups of six and several scattered artifacts.
