Baronowie — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Baronowie is a large Expert map for In the Wake of Gods, 108 by 108 tiles with an underground level. Eight colors take part, but up to six can be human, and Orange and Teal are left to the computer. Seven teams are formed, drawing on the Castle, Fortress, Necropolis, Conflux and Dungeon factions. The terrain is mostly rock, grass and swamp, with very little water. The author's note speaks of gaining renown and riches through the sword and settling scores with rivals. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while losing every town and hero ends a player's game. Highlights include the Grail, several Azure Dragons and Medusa Queens, and 26 monoliths and portals.
