Audaciousness is an extra large underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Shadow of Death, sized 144 by 144 and played on the difficulty setting Impossible. It supports eight players in total, with up to two human participants, while the other six colors are computer-controlled. The players form three teams. Red and Blue each have access to seven factions, Tan and Green play Necropolis, and Orange, Purple, Teal and Pink play Inferno. Lava covers nearly half the terrain, with dirt and swamp making up most of the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 26 towns and 154 mines, with wandering monsters, twelve dwelling types and six placed named artifacts, along with 34 random artifacts, 90 creature banks and a timed event.
