Art Islands — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Art Islands is an extra-large 144 by 144 map for Restoration of Erathia, supporting up to eight human or computer players with no teams. Each player leads one of eight factions, from Castle to Inferno, at Normal difficulty, with an underground level included. Rock covers about 44 percent of the land, while water and grass each take about a fifth. Twelve towns sit across the islands, amid 147 random monster stacks and wandering threats such as a Chaos Hydra and a Ghost Dragon. Other finds include the Grail, 84 mines and several named artifacts. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
