Art Islands — RoE

Art Islands is an extra large 144 by 144 map for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and an underground level included. Each of the eight colors starts with a different faction, from Castle and Rampart through Inferno, and the goal is to defeat every enemy while losing all towns and heroes ends a player's game. Rock covers most of the terrain, with water and grass making up the rest, and twelve towns are spread across the islands. The map is stocked with a large number of wandering monsters, including Chaos Hydras, Ghost Dragons, and a Wyvern Monarch, along with a Grail and many artifacts such as the Helm of Chaos and several tomes. Eighty-four mines and four creature banks add further resources to the islands.
