Argnothias — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Argnothias is an extra-large underground map for Armageddon's Blade, measuring 144 by 144 tiles, with a subterranean level in play. Eight players are set up, six of them open to human control, with Teal and Pink reserved for the computer. Players form three teams, and each side fields a different town type, running from Tower and Castle through Necropolis and Inferno. Victory comes from eliminating every enemy, while a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. Water covers most of the surface, with grass, lava and snow making up the rest. Across the map sit thirteen towns, a scattering of wandering monsters such as Crystal Dragons and Magma Elementals, twenty-five creature banks, and the Grail. Notable placed artifacts include Armageddon's Blade and the Orb of Tempestuous Fire.
