Argnothias — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Argnothias is an Extra Large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Armageddon's Blade, played at Normal difficulty. Eight players share the battlefield, with six seats open to human players and Teal and Pink reserved for the computer, and the sides form three teams. The factions are Tower, Castle, Rampart, Stronghold, Dungeon, Fortress, Inferno and Necropolis, one per colour. Water covers about 61 percent of the surface, with grass, lava and snow making up most of the rest. Victory comes from defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Thirteen towns and a single pre-placed hero are on the map, along with 67 mines, 25 creature banks, three seer huts and four monoliths or portals. Notable finds include the Grail, Armageddon's Blade and a set of placed artifacts, plus many wandering monster stacks.
