Alea Jacta Est is an Extra Large, 144 by 144 underground map for In the Wake of Gods, set at Impossible difficulty. The author casts the player as swamp warriors fighting to save a world with nowhere to run, where one side must destroy the other. Six players share the field, with up to two human seats and four computer-only colors, arranged in two teams. Red and Blue play Fortress, while the computer sides mix Rampart with Stronghold, Dungeon, or Inferno. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Water covers about a quarter of the land and lava about a fifth. The map holds 48 towns, 19 heroes, roaming Golems and dragons, and artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade.
