Africa of Heroes is an extra large underground map measuring 144 by 144, rated expert. Its author says it suits only seasoned strategists, warns that it is hard, and expects many failed attempts. Eight players can take part, with up to five human players, while Orange, Purple and Pink are computer-only. Seven teams are formed. Red and Blue get random towns, Tan has Stronghold, Green has Necropolis, Orange and Purple have Fortress, Teal has Inferno, and Pink has Dungeon. Victory means defeating all enemies, and a player is lost after losing every town and hero. Rock covers 32 percent of the terrain and water 23 percent. The map holds 28 towns, 76 mines, 61 random artifacts, and a wandering Archangel stack.
