Actala — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Actala is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, set on an isle that players must hold onto. It supports four colors, with up to two played by humans, and two teams. Red and Blue both play Castle, Tan plays Fortress, and Green plays Necropolis; Tan and Green are computer-only. Terrain is mostly rock, with water covering about a quarter of the surface alongside grass and swamp. Victory comes from defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. The map holds eleven towns and five pre-placed heroes, along with wandering stacks of water elementals, wraiths, and archangels, dwellings offering creatures from several factions, eleven named artifacts, and fifty-two mines.
