16 Dimensions is an Extra Large surface map of 144 by 144 tiles for up to eight human players in four teams, with random factions for every side. It is set to Impossible difficulty. A side wins by defeating all enemies and loses once it has no towns or heroes left. The author describes the sixteen dimensions as sixteen lives and chances, with portals that let a player help themselves or an ally in another world. The terrain is mostly subterranean, rough, dirt, and sand, with only a little water. The map has 48 towns, 130 mines, and 16 monoliths and portals. Placed artifacts include several pendants, the Sphere of Permanence, and the Bird of Perception. Elemental and dragon dwellings are scattered across the land, and many wandering elementals, satyrs, and sea serpents roam it.
