There are no teams and no computer-controlled colors, so both seats are human. The terrain is mostly rock, subterranean ground, snow and lava, with no water. The author's description suggests that two dark forces clash here and that survival depends on cunning and nimbleness rather than on any hope of winning outright. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
