Zgubiony Artefakt is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles, aimed at easy play for a single human player against five computer-controlled rivals, one for each of the other five colors. The players are Castle for Red, Tower for Tan, Stronghold for Green, Inferno for Orange, Necropolis for Purple, and Fortress for Teal, with no teams. The main goal is to acquire one specific artifact, while the player loses if a particular hero is lost. The landscape is mostly rock, with about a fifth water and some grass. The map holds 14 towns, 64 mines, eight monoliths and portals, and many artifacts, including a set of named items and several random ones. Wandering monsters such as Pikemen and Archers roam the land.
