Zatopilo — SoD

Zatopilo is a medium 72x72 Heroes of Might and Magic III map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and an Impossible difficulty setting. Its description, translated from Russian, speaks of a state struck by an unprecedented cataclysm that flooded its lands, and of a call to restore its lost power. Nearly half the map is swamp and nearly half is water, so movement across the flooded terrain is a central concern. Seven players start, five of them can be human, and the teams setting is off. Factions are Inferno, Castle, Stronghold, Dungeon, Fortress (two colors), and one random. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 12 towns, 40 mines, five seer huts, and monsters such as Chaos Hydras and Black Dragons, plus four placed artifacts, including the Pendant of Dispassion.
