Yukon Gold — RoE

Yukon Gold is an extra large snowy map measuring 144 by 144, with almost no water and no underground level. Up to eight players can take part, all of them human, with random factions and no teams. Each side pairs its heroes with a computer helper to face three other pairs. The map is rated Hard. Victory comes from accumulating gold, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Players search for Castle Beowulf in this cold world. Nineteen towns and three starting heroes are placed. Wandering stacks include Gold Golems, Champions, Pegasus, Behemoths, Green Dragons, Ogre Mages, Dread Knights and Wyverns. Dwellings hold creatures from Pikemen to Bone Dragons, and artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and Dragon Scale Armor lie about. The author warns that a strong start may not last.
