Yugoslavia and Hungary — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Yugoslavia and Hungary is an Extra Large map measuring 144 by 144 with no underground level. It is built for eight players, all of whom can be human, grouped into six teams. The author frames the conflict as a struggle to unite Yugoslavia and to defeat Hungarian forces seen as allies of NATO. Each player takes one of eight factions: Castle, Dungeon, Tower, Necropolis, Stronghold, Inferno, Rampart, or Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once every town and hero is gone. About a fifth of the terrain is water, with swamp, grass, and dirt covering most of the rest. The map includes 25 towns, 17 placed heroes, 112 mines, 82 random monster stacks, and the placed Bow of the Sharpshooter and Cards of Prophecy. Difficulty is Normal.
