YO MAN — AB

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

YO MAN is an extra large underground map measuring 144 by 144, rated Hard, for four players who can all be human. There are no teams, and each player starts with a different stronghold: Tower for Red, Castle for Blue, Fortress for Green, and Stronghold for Orange. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when all towns and heroes are gone. The land is mostly grass, snow, lava, and dirt, with about a tenth of it water. Among the notable features are the Grail, Armageddon's Blade, and 143 mines, along with 27 towns, 12 seer huts, and 38 creature banks. The author says the four starting positions should give each player nearly equal chances.
