Wyprawy Krzyżowe is an Extra Large 144x144 map for six players, all of them human-capable, with no teams and no underground level. It is set in the Holy Land, a city sacred to Christians and Muslims, and draws on the period of the Crusades, when its soil was fought over for roughly two centuries. Players take the Castle, Rampart, Stronghold, Cove, Necropolis and Conflux factions, with Blue starting as both Castle and Rampart. The terrain is mostly sand, rough ground and dirt, with about a quarter of the map covered by water. Victory comes from building a Grail structure, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 23 towns, 59 mines, 187 creature banks and 18 Seer Huts, along with the Grail and many placed artifacts.

Jerozolima jest świętym miastem dwóch wielkich religii, dla chrześcijan jako miejsce ukrzyżowania mesjasza, dla muzłuman jako miejsce gdzie Mahomet wstąpił do nieba. Zarządzenie Krucjaty rozpoczeła szereg zmian, w czasie których, przez kolejne 200 lat święta ziemia plamiona była krwią wiernych.
