Woodyland — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Woodyland is a small Heroes of Might and Magic III map for Armageddon's Blade, set on a 36 by 36 board with an underground level. Eight players occupy it, but only four can be human; the other four colors, Orange, Purple, Teal and Pink, are computer-controlled. There are no teams. The factions are Castle, Tower, Stronghold, Rampart, Inferno, Dungeon, Fortress and Necropolis, one per player. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Subterranean, lava, swamp and rough terrain make up most of the land, and the map holds ten towns, 30 mines, and a number of wandering monster stacks, including Titans and Archangels. Artifacts such as the Endless Sack of Gold and the Orb of Driving Rain are scattered around. The author describes it as a high-difficulty challenge, rated Expert.
