Wood war — SoD

Wood War is a medium surface map of 72 by 72 tiles, almost entirely grass with a sliver of water, rated Impossible. According to the author's description, treacherous elves who had made a pact with Erathia turned on the kingdom and raided its eastern lands. King Roland offered a reward to anyone who would settle the region and drive them out, and only two people accepted. Five players can all be human, with no teams. Red and Orange play Castle, while Blue, Tan and Green play Rampart. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero. The map holds seven towns, 52 mines, three seer huts and the Grail, along with placed artifacts such as Angel Wings and the Shield of the Dwarven Lords. Wandering dwarves, centaurs and pegasi roam the grassland.
