Władca Pierścieni — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This map draws on the Lord of the Rings theme: the free peoples of Middle-earth face Sauron's armies, and only a magical ring stands between them and conquest. It is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, rated Impossible, for up to eight human players in three teams. The eight players use seven factions, with Rampart chosen twice. Victory comes from acquiring one specific artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly rock, water and grass, with 38 towns, 127 mines and 26 monoliths and portals. Large numbers of wandering phoenixes and azure dragons roam the map, and 15 creature banks and 16 quest guards add further challenges.
