Wild World of Wonders is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, rated expert, and its author describes it as hard but far from impossible. Six players share the field, though only four can be human, since the Orange and Purple seats are reserved for computer control. Five teams are set up, and each seat fields a different faction: Necropolis, Inferno, Fortress, Tower, Stronghold and Dungeon. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once every town and hero is gone. Water covers about 40 percent of the surface, with subterranean ground, grass and snow making up most of the rest. The map holds 25 towns and 22 placed heroes, along with roaming stacks such as Azure Dragons, Medusas and Cyclops, plus several placed artifacts including the Sword of Judgement and the Tomes of Fire and Earth Magic.
