Great Struggles is an Extra Large, 144 by 144 map with an underground level, set on Hard difficulty for five players, up to two of whom can be human. A powerful alchemist plans to conquer every continent and enslave their lands, so the human players must team up to remove him and seize his castle. Three teams compete: Red plays Inferno, Blue Tower, Green Rampart, Orange Stronghold and Purple Necropolis, with Red, Blue and Purple controlled only by the computer. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about half the terrain, with grass, lava and water making up the rest. Notable features include the Grail, 75 mines, 30 creature banks, and eight monoliths and portals.
