This large Hard map for In the Wake of Gods, sized 108 by 108 and including an underground level, is a war across Western Europe. Paraphrasing the author's notes, it imagines England and France, long unable to live in peace, breaking into smaller states that each want to settle old quarrels while outside powers wait to intervene. Eight players, all of whom can be human, each take a different faction: Castle, Inferno, Rampart, Stronghold, Necropolis, Fortress, Tower, and Dungeon. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. Rock covers much of the terrain, followed by water, lava, and grass. The map holds 30 towns, 99 mines, 14 creature banks, and 11 monoliths or portals, and it includes the Grail and Armageddon's Blade among its placed artifacts.
