Warlords (SoD) — SoD

Warlords (SoD) is a large 108 by 108 tile map for three players, each playing a single faction: Necropolis for Red, Castle for Blue, and Inferno for Green. It includes an underground level and is set to the Impossible difficulty, with no teams and no computer-only colors, so all three seats can be human. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated once they lose all towns and heroes. Rock covers about half the terrain, with water making up roughly a sixth and snow and rough ground the rest. The map holds nine towns, three starting heroes, and 189 random monster stacks, along with wandering dragons and water elementals. Players will find 54 mines, 31 creature banks, three seer huts, four monoliths or portals, and a number of placed artifacts, including the Armor of Wonder and the Boots of Speed.
